Libby Dietrix, born Elizabeth Diedre Groll, is an American singer, actress, songwriter,producer, artist and dancer.
Dietrix was born on July 18, 1996 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Lorie Elizabeth (Nowak), engineering professor and business executive, and Jeremy Michael Groll, reproductive endocrinologist. Her first role was as the Young Sour Kangaroo in Oakwood High School's production of Seussical the Musical, and has been performing ever since.
Diextrix attended Kettering Fairmont High School from 2011-2015, where she was a member of the award-winning a Capella group Eleventh Hour, who opened for Pentatonix at James S. Trent Arena in 2013. She earned a local award for her role as Gingy and the Sugar Plum Fairy in Kettering Fairmont's production of Shrek the Musical.
In October of 2016 Dietrix began working with Grammy-nominated producer Ronald Frost through Invention City Records. She released her first original single 'Adventure Over Romance' in 2018. Her debut album 'Undergrad' came out August 2, 2019 with Invention City Records, reflecting on her time at The Ohio State University.
